How MTV's Punk'd Was Fak'd

Everyone who's ever watched an MTV reality TV show probably knows that some
of that so-called "reality" is a little bit unreal. For every celebrity that
totally lied on MTV's Cribs, there's a producer or two who faked a scene on
Pimp My Ride. Reality TV lies are a dime a dozen – but then there was Punk'd.

Punk'd was arguably one of the realest reality shows on MTV. But producers
had no qualms about cutting up their actual reactions and making it look like
host Ashton Kutcher could not be beat.

I remember watching Punk'd very skeptically, because at a certain point in
almost every episode I wondered where's the security team, where's the cops,
or how is nobody getting stomped right now? Also, how are they getting these
clean, perfectly framed reaction shots from multiple angles without anyone
noticing cameras, and how does nobody recognize these pranksters? Idk how many
times my brother would mention that if something weird happened to him and he
saw a person that looked like any of those punk'd actors, nobody would be able
to convince him it was really happening lol
